-Former WWE Diva Lita (a/k/a Amy Dumas) will appear at the AWE Awesome Night of Legends on October 15 in Fisherville, Va. The event will also feature Kevin Nash and Doug Gibson vs. Rock-n-Roll Express, and appearances by Dallas Page, Finlay, Jim Duggan, Terry Funk, Sunny, Dutch Mantell, Tully Blanchard, Baby Doll, C.W. -In the show opening dark match at Tuesday's WWE Smackdown taping, Michael McGillicutty defeated Trent Barreta. McGillicutty is from the Twin Cities area, which is likely why the Raw brand wrestler appeared on the Smackdown show. In the dark match main event, Christian defeated Randy Orton to retain the World Hvt. Championship when Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes interfered. Although this is Christian's second title reign, this was actually his first successful title defense.

-Former WWE wrestler Gene Snitsky appeared on ABC's "What Would You Do?" on Friday. He played a man who was wanted by the law and entered a Pennsylvania restaurant. The question of the show was whether you would turn in the wanted felon. Thanks to the unnamed Dot Net reader who passed along the story.

-Former WCW wrestler Mike Sanders is 42 today. He was born on July 20, 1969. He received a big push from Vince Russo as a member of The Natural Born Thrillers in WCW along with Chuck Palumbo, Shawn Stasiak, Mark Jindrak, Sean O'Haire, and Reno. Sanders is now performing standup comedy.

-There are a pair of 30-minute UWF shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight beginning at 11:00 p.m. CT. The shows will feature The Black Hearts, Luna Vachon, Bob Orton Jr. vs. Brian Blair, and Ivan Koloff vs. David Sammartino.
