-Brock Lesnar commented on why he and Kurt Angle became pro wrestlers in an interview with Minnesota Daily. "As an amateur wrestler, you only have two avenues to go after college: the Olympics or professional wrestling," Lesnar said. "There is no pro amateur wrestling league. At least now the wrestling part can translate over to mixed martial arts and you can have a chance to make a paycheck doing something competitive.

"For me and Kurt, we had a job. A lot of the guys we wrestled with in college, those guys became coaches and didn't have that opportunity, and both me and Kurt were thankful that we did. But (UFC) opens another avenue for guys like us." To read the full interview, which focusses on his UFC career, click here.

-Dot Net reader Ben Gonzalez believes Mickie James might be nursing a legitimate arm injury. "Just thought I'd pass along that I was at a WWE house show in Abilene, Tex. over the weekend. This is where I believe Mickie James injured her arm. She wrestled Katie Lea and about halfway through the match took a bad bump and was favoring that arm the rest of the match and after.  I think that the rest of what happened on NOC and RAW may just be trying to give her an injury storyline rather than tell us she hurt her arm at some house show."

-Jake Roberts is posting a weekly review of Raw on his Myspace page. Here's a sample of his comments on the C.M. Punk and JBL match: "Security around ring to start off...setting off impossible situation for Punk - Seems impossible for him to escape with belt but that's the way you build a babyface. From the depths of a sure no win situation to him somehow, someway finding a way to win or survive or both.

"Good push for C.M. Ah!! Here comes the Calvary. Can appreciate the thought of three on six—see the good guys are always outnumbered. That's what makes us all pull for underdogs. Aren't we happy when they overcome insurmountable odds. Pretty good finish, C.M., tell JBL thanks for the clothesline!! C.M., do something about your ring gear!!"

This could be an informative read if Jake shoots straight and gives his honest opinion. He's worked as a WWE agent in the past and is widely regarded as one of the brightest minds in the business. To read his full report, check out his Myspace Page.
