WWE Video: Sting still wants to face Undertaker, comments on who he wants to face if the match does not occur 2014-08-16 20:05:10
Sting spoke with Sam Roberts of Sirius/XM at the WWE 2K15 video game release event on Saturday in Los Angeles. Roberts noted that Sting expressed a strong desire to wrestle a match for WWE during his appearance on the panel. "It doesn't diminish things. I did have a moment of, "Ah, it's over, I'll never be able to get in the ring with Taker.' But just because he lost doesn't mean he's done or leaving. I just can't imagine Taker leaving or being done. I just can't imagine that. I don't know what's going on with him for sure. Man, I think Taker vs. Sting doesn't need a streak storyline, we just need Taker and Sting." Watch the full interview at Youtube.com/watch?v=PTDV0vs1Mkg.
Powell's POV: If the Taker match does not occur, Sting said he the logical move in his mind is to wrestle someone from his generation that he has never wrestled before. Triple H? There's a ten-year age difference, but I say close enough. Anyway, he also spoke about facing Ric Flair on the final WCW Nitro, the finish to his match with Hulk Hogan at Starrcade '97, and more.
