TNA News: Kurt Angle reveals his contract status with TNA, whether he will re-sign, and his projected return to the ring
TNA star Kurt Angle appeared on the Ross Report with WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross today. Among the topics, Angle revealed his contract with TNA expires on September 21. He was offered another contract by TNA but turned it down because his next wrestling contract will be his last and he feels he needs to think about what that means for who he signs with. Angle also revealed he is on track to return to the ring in October. You can listen to the podcast at PodcastOne.com.
Shore's Slant: Let the countdown and speculation begin on Angle's return to WWE. I do not know if TNA contracts are structured like WWE where they can add injury time on to extend the contract, and even if they are, I have no idea if Angle's current on-air non-wrestling role would prevent them from adding it on anyway. Whatever the situation, it certainly makes this fall an interesting time to watch for where Angle ends up. This is also only part one of the interview with part two airing next week.
