7/17 WWE NXT TV taping SPOILERS: Three shows taped into August including Tyler Breeze's shot at Adrian Neville and the NXT Championship, Bray Wyatt appears, tag title contender tournament begins
2014-07-17 22:07:09

<b>WWE NXT TV taping
Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University
Report by Dot Net's Zack Zimmerman</b>

Dark match

1. Solomon Crowe over Travis Tyler.

July 31 show

1. Tyler Breeze beat Angelo Dawkins. Post-match, Breeze was about to show his music video again when Adrian Neville interrupted. Neville wanted to know when Breeze was going to cash in his title shot and made a joke about Breeze's mom sending him a Snapchat. The two brawled briefly and Neville got the better of Breeze until Breeze ran off.

2. Charlotte over Becky Lynch.

3. The Ascension squashed an enhancement team. Post-match, a tournament was set up to establish new top contenders to face The Ascension for the NXT Tag Titles.

4. Bull Dempsey and Mojo Rawley defeated The Mechanics (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder).

5. Adam Rose beat Tyson Kidd. Rose gave his lollipop to Natalya and Tyson got mad, allowing Rose to score the win with a small package.  The first show was said to be "super boring."

It was announced that the next set of tapings will take place at Full Sail in two weeks on July 31.

August 7 show

1. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady beat Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger in the Tag Tournament. Amore and Cass were said to be over huge with the Full Sail crowd.

2. CJ Parker over Xavier Woods.

3. Bayley defeated Eva Marie. The Full Sail faithful, who have been chanting "Better than Batista" for the last 6+ months, actually chanted "Worse than Batista" at Eva Marie. There was a loud "Thank you, Bayley" chant after she won.

4. Sami Zayn and Adam Rose over Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel in the Tag Tournament.

August 14 show

1. The Vaudevillains defeated Bull Dempsey and Mojo Rawley in the Tag Tournament. Post-match, Bull attacked Mojo and the crowd chanted "Thank you, Bull" in response. Bull seemed to leave before coming back and attacking Mojo again to an even bigger reaction from the crowd. They chanted "one more time," but Bull left. This seemed to get him over as a babyface. Funny considering the purpose was precisely the opposite.

2. Bayley beat Sasha Banks to become No. 1 Contender to the NXT Women's Championship. Champion Charlotte came out after the match to raise Bayley's arm and shake her hand.

3. Kalisto and Sin Cara over Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy in the Tag Tournament.

4. Adrian Neville defeated Tyler Breeze by DQ to retain the NXT Championship. The finish came when Tyson Kidd interfered. Breeze was pissed and he attacked Kidd until they turned their attention and both attacked Adrian Neville. Sami Zayn ran down to make the save and when he grabbed the NXT Title to hand to Neville, he held onto it for a little bit too long. Looks like a Fatal Four way  down the road.

Sami Zayn took a mic and called the heels back out for a tag match. They came back out and got the upper-hand before the bell rang.

5. Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn over Tyson Kidd and Tyler Breeze. Neville pinned Kidd for the finish.

In the dark segment, Bray Wyatt came out in complete babyface mode. Kidd and Breeze were still in the ring until Wyatt beat them up and disposed of them. Bray cut a babyface promo to send his Cult of Full Sail home happy. (Though overall, this was said to be a particularly dull set of tapings.)
